Sauvignon blanc
2023

Pale straw hue with a slight green tint.
White asparagus, green pepper and elegant floral notes on the nose with a hint of passion fruit. Flint and minerality ads poise and character. The medium bodied palate follows through with more green pepper and grapefruit that is balanced out with a restrained acidity.

Pinotage blanc
2023

Almost crystal clear with a slight blush which separates this wine from the rest of the pack. Prominent strawberry and candy floss aromas are supported by a medley of green apple, pear and banana notes. The sweet red berry flavours are balanced by delicate tart cherry flavours and hints of pink marshmallow and stone fruit.

Chardonnay
2021

Pale golden straw. Lemon zest and peach blossoms are supported by hazelnut and buttered toast underpinned by a rich minerality. Full bodied and buttery in character, the opulent mouthfeel is underscored by grippy tannins and an acidity that adds length and liveliness to the finish.

Estate Lady M
2022

Medium purple in colour. Juicy plumb and dark fruit aromas are backed by red berries, mocha, and dark chocolate. Hints of forest floor and savoury mushroom aromas add depth to the enticing nose. Full bodied in nature, with plush, velvety tannins that are linear and lengthy support the dark fruit flavours that are backed with a lively acidity that adds length on the end of the palate. A beautiful example of the versatility of the cultivar that is unadulterated by any wood contact nor maturation in wooden barrels.

Pinotage
2020

Deep purple in colour. Juicy plumb and dark fruit aromas are backed by red berries, mocha, and dark chocolate. Hints of forest floor and savoury mushroom aromas add depth to the enticing nose. Full bodied in nature, with voluptuous, velvety tannins that are linear and lengthy support the dark fruit flavours that are backed with a lively acidity that adds length on the end of the palate.

Shiraz
2019

Deep red in colour with a purple rim. Savoury overtones interspersed with dark fruit, leather, black pepper and notes of clove and cinnamon leap from the glass. The oak lends vanilla, mocha, and dark chocolate notes supporting the fruit and spicey overtones. Plums, dark chocolate and a medley of spices follows through on the full bodied palate which is backed with plush tannins that add structure, length and finesse to the finish.

Pinotage Rosé
2022

Salmon pink with an orange tint. Strawberry and raspberry aromas are complimented by candy floss and red cherry notes. The nose follows through and matches the creamy pallet whilst lingering delightfully in the mouth thanks to natural acidity and core of the wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
2020

Deep red in colour with a garnet rim. A melange of blackcurrant, mulberries and raspberries leads on the nose and is backed by lead pencil shavings, cigar box notes, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and warm spices. A full bodied palate with tight, linear tannins and a well-balanced acidity lends itself to the rich berry fruit. The Merlot adds beautiful depth to the mid palate whilst the Cabernet Sauvignon rounds off this complex marriage of the two Nobel cultivars.

Noble Late Harvest
2016

Intense golden hue. Beautiful Botrytis notes with honeycomb and apricots on the nose. Succulent flavours of dried pears and green figs together with wonderful sucrosity and an elegant, lingering palate.

FLORENCE | BY AALDERING

The Florence range was introduced to offer exciting and youthful blends that can be enjoyed regularly. The range was named after the only granddaughter of Marianne & Fons, Florence. From the Latin name Florentius or the feminine form Floren¬tia, which also means ‘’prosperous’’ and ‘’to blossom’’.

Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay 2023

This delightful marriage of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay delights all the senses. Pale and light with a slight yellowish hue.
The Sauvignon Blanc brings floral notes, quince, granadilla and minerality to this elegant and delicate melange.

Chenin Blanc
2022

Pale straw in colour. A medley of tropical fruit, melon and stone fruit notes delights the nose. The medium bodied palate is supported by stone fruit and guava following through from the nose and lending a fine texture to the mid palate. A flinty, crushed seashell back palate intertwines well with the zesty acidity that lends freshness and length to this delightful Chenin Blanc.

Pinotage Rosé
NV

A beautiful reflection of theversatility of Pinotage in the cellar. Salmon pink in colour, which shows beautifully in the flint glass bottle (NEW). Sweet strawberry, raspberry, and candyfloss notes follow through on the pallet. The upfront fruit is supported by a balanced acidity and good mouthfeel thanks to extra lees contact in the cellar.

Winemakers selection 2020

Deep purple in colour. Plums, red and black berries infuse the nose whilst lead pencil, chocolate and coffee notes add warmth and complexity to this trinity of cultivars. A full bodied wine with a palate of fruitcake, dark chocolate and brooding fruit is supported by granular tannins that add length, depth and longevity to this Cape blend.

Barrel Selection
NV (3rd edition)

Deep red in colour with a garnet rim. Red berry notes and plums are supported by spice and chocolate overtones. The upfront fruit is balanced with linear tannins from the specially selected barrels that add
length and poise to the acidity and finish. The selection and blending of these 4 cultivars embody the spirit of our Aaldering red wines.
