Aaldering Vineyards & Wines

Aaldering Vineyards & Wines located in Stellenbosch, is inspired by the peace and tranquility of the vineyard's natural beauty. The serenity of the vineyards is epitomized by ducks gliding on the farm reservoir, eagles circling overhead, and small game meandering shyly between the vines.

A highly sophisticated wine making process produces premium red and white wines with the assistance of a devoted staff recruited from the adjacent communities.

Winemaking starts with growing healthy grapes in the vineyards. The philosophy of Aaldering Vineyards & Wines is to have nature keep itself healthy and to use elements of nature to resist possible threats in the vineyards.

At this stage Aaldering Vineyards & Wines combines elements of both organic and biodynamic farming using more organic products, less chemicals, and to practice farming under seasonal conditions.

The estate was founded in 2004 by Marianne & Fons Aaldering, a well-known entrepeneurial couple from The Netherlands. Aaldering Vineyards & Wines released its maiden vintage 2007 in the year 2010.
